Glory For Ashes is a movement that is geared to helping troubled traumatic people and help people who have gone through abuse, pain and rejection to rebuild their lives. There are several aspects to Glory For Ashes.

Rebuilding hope into the hopeless people who are contemplating suicide, who are in and out of drug rehab, who have lost hope and are addicted to different kinds of physical abuse.

Three areas of focus involve stopping human trafficking, education about human trafficking, and restoration initiatives for people who have gone through abuse, and need healing for brokenness.

William Wilberforce was instrumental in the abolition of slavery, It took several decades for the bill to be passed to end human slavery, because of economic reasons, Human trafficking Is not new, it has been around for a long time, and is a very lucrative area for many people. Human Trafficking is  a multi billion dollar industry.

Grace Manchala is the founder of Glory for Ashes, Having gone through abuse in her life, she now is an inspiration to women, she has dedicated her life to working towards helping end human trafficking, and help bring restoration to the victims of abuse.

Trafficking has many faces, it affects boys and girls, men and women, it ranges from forced labor to sex trafficking and everything in between. At Glory For Ashes, we believe it is the responsibility of everyone to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves. As some one said, all that needs to be done for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing. If we close our eyes and ears to the oppression of human trafficking then this evil will continue to grow and many more lives will be lost to this insidious evil, but on the other hand if we join hands together and we are vigilant and take action we could see many lives saved from this hideous crime.

Types of Human Trafficking:

Domestic Servitude

Employees working in private homes are forced or coerced into serving and/or fraudulently convinced that they have no option to leave.

Sex Trafficking

Women, men or children that are forced into the commercial sex industry and held against their will by force, fraud or coercion.

Forced Labor

Human beings are forced to work under the threat of violence and for no pay. These slaves are treated as property and exploited to create a product for commercial sale.

Bonded Labor

Individuals that are compelled to work in order to repay a debt and unable to leave until the debt is repaid. It is the most common form of enslavement in the world.

Child Labor

Any enslavement — whether forced labor, domestic servitude, bonded labor or sex trafficking — of a child.

Forced Marriage

Women and children who are forced to marry another without their consent or against their will.

Please take time to think about how you would respond if someone close to you was trapped in trafficking. There are millions of lives at stake, if you are instrumental in saving one life or preventing one from going into trafficking, then you have made a meaningful contribution to set a fellow human being free. Let us be a voice to those who have no voice. Let us learn about the indicators of how to identify people being trapped into trafficking, let us be proactive in making our neighborhood and communities a safe place for our children. The average age of trafficked victims is 12 years old. Please do not be passive, but take up the challenge may your voice be heard and give to causes that fight against human trafficking. Ignorance is not a bliss, find out how boys and girls, men and women are being affected by this evil in your community. Strive to make this world a better place for the generations to come. The choice is yours, choose to know.
